class descriptions
Body Pump: Challenge yourself with the original barbell class that strengthens and tones your entire body. Its the fastest way to burn fat, tone muscles and strengthen.
Cardio C.S.I.: (C.S.I. Cardio Strength Intervals!) This interval class combines cardio, strength, endurance, and balance training for a physical and mental challenge.
Cardio Kickboxing/Kickboxing: Ready for this fun and challenging cardio experience. Youll learn stances, punches, and defensive skills as well as combinations of all three. The focus is on upper and lower body muscular endurance as well as cardiovascular endurance and power. If you are looking for something new to put the pow back into your exercise program, this is definitely it!
Energy Spin & Express Spin: An athletic cycle program utilizing the most innovating sport psychology, including guided imagery, visualization, and motivational techniques. No exercise background is necessary. Group indoor cycle is designed for any fitness level. Set your own pace; everyone starts and finishes together!
Flow Yoga: The focus of yoga is balanced integration of breath and movement. Postures (asana) and posture flows (vinyasa) bring increased strength and flexibility to the body. Conscious attention to the breath (pranayama) and the workings of the mind (meditation) bring a sense of calm. All levels are welcome.
Pilates: This class strengthens the core abdominal muscles while opening joints and releasing tension. Pilates classes emphasize concentration, precision movement, and breathe awareness to create and condition strong, elongated and flexible muscles that improve posture, strength and overall athletic performance.
Metabolic Effect (M.E.): M.E. is a 60 minute cardio-interval workout. With easy to follow moves, you work hard, and then rest, letting your body guide you. ME merges the science of hormonal metabolism with movement. There are no fancy steps to remember and no workout is ever the same!
Muscle Up: Improve muscular strength and endurance using resistance, which may include equipment such as weights, tubing, Body Bars, stability balls or more in this great group class. Regular strength training improves the bodys metabolism, promotes greater fat-burning efficiency, and strengthens muscles and bones.
Step Interval: A combination of cardio Step patterns integrated with muscle conditioning, balance training, and/or cardiovascular drills.
Yoga One: This class focus is Hatha Yoga, a balanced integration of body, mind and spirit. Postures (asana) and posture flows (vinyasa) bring increased strength and flexibility to the body. Conscious attention to the breath (pranayama) and the workings of the mind (meditation) bring a sense of calm and align body, mind and spirit.
Zumba: A Latin influenced dance style class that combines high energy moves and dance combinations that are designed to make your workout fun and make you feel great!
